.I decided to revise Ching Meng 1.0 to version 2.0. There are a lot of delusions and greed to be transformed into daily life wisdom for my own self-protection and foundation for success. I was nearly got cheated again by seller during my China holiday trip.
.Fear of missing out (FOMO) is another form of greed. This is often use by seller to force me to buy NOW cause the offer is only for today or now. Large amount of discount is also a way to trick buyer who are greedy to buy by mark-up the the price and sell at large discount price e.g. Renminbi 68,000 discount to Ringgit Malaysia 4,000. Better do a proper evaluation of the deal from the price and value validity perspective before making the decision to buy. It is OK to miss out a good deal than to overspend or buy a low value product (worse still a fake product) vs the selling price. Do a rough self estimation from experience or check in shoppee etc of the product cost and profit they are making to determine a fair price then decide if it is a good deal to buy or pass the deal and move on. Sellers and scammers are now too sophisticated attending psychology training and work in a team environment holding different positions to engage to build trust and convince buyers with a well-designed script, selling process and environment because human are emotional. Once emotion is in the situation the logic mind is out of control. Buyer are like a piglet walking into the tiger (seller) cage without knowing the danger and play with the tiger.
.It is not necessary to take anything that is free from the seller because this is their sales techniques and they already calculated the cost into the sales promotion to make huge profit overall. Giving free gift is a way to bring in leads and customers to buy. Sellers are playing the psychology game of bringing down the buyer’s self protection layer to trust them and the theory of reciprocity where receiver will feel obliged to return a favour / buy something from them. This is also a form of greed for free and got trap into the selling cycle. Same thing has to evaluate the value of the product / service versus my needs / wants and considering my cash /budget availability to spend (suitability to my conditions and situations).
.Compassion to beggars and sales personnel in any form to cultivate habit of self protection. Many times buy out of pitiful to the young and old seller or just give them a ringgit donating without buying. Will reject all in future. Only donate to reliable source that I know. Not buying because I don’t need and save my money for future and family.
.All judgement and decision made needs to have facts from reliable source with own risks vs benefits, situation and relationship relevancy evaluation. Whatever others said take it with a pinch of salt and verify the validity of it. Not to make any rush decision and regret with the long-term negative consequence in future.
.Similarly, what others said that are good to hear or unhappy to hear need a process to verify the validity is good or bad for me for self-protection and self-improvement by putting down my I, mine, me mind.
