Shurangama Sutra Session 12
1. It is not easy to calm the mind into samadhi and just observe and be aware of what is happening plus without adding our opinions, likes and dislikes etc. All these is my “I” and 7th consciousness playing their role to confuse me from my true nature.
2. My current mouth ulcer just in time to let me experience it especially when I am eating. Initially I feel the pain and discomfort then I recall of me reading of the this lesson to be calm and peace without any attachment and reaction being lead astray on my true nature. So I just try to eat as usual and just observe trying to peel of my “I” and 7th consciousness. It feels lesser pain and not so much affected taking my meal. I guess this is what it means that from rough observation to the finer ones and ultimately will connect to our true nature.
3. Need to practice more on “Don’t Know” mind to daily life situations and become one with them so can have a better functional life. Can be more aware of my “I”, “mine”, “me” mind but many times lack of samadhi to take functional actions accordingly.
4. It is interesting to apply what is learnt and just experience and observation. Hopefully, soon meet up with my true nature and function correctly moment to moment.
